Forlais AI Governance. ISO 42001 and ISO 27001.
Forlais AI governance: standards aligned to ISO 42001 and ISO 27001, the governance charter, document control, and statements of applicability.
We operate against a written set of standards covering AI use, research integrity, security, and organisational conduct. The records that belong in public are published in full here.
Overview
Standards we hold to.
Our standards align to ISO 42001 (AI management) and ISO 27001 (information security). Statements of applicability for both are published under Public Documents.
Where the boundary sits.
Internal procedures, registers, templates, and live records stay under document control. Only what's been cleared for release is published.
Kept current.
Public statements are reviewed on a routine cadence and reissued when something material changes. Each document carries its own code and version.
What's published, and why.
We publish the records a reader would reasonably need to assess the institution: the governance charter, the statements of applicability for the standards we align to, the principles and policies covering AI use and research integrity, and the company commitments on conduct, equality, modern slavery, and the environment. Together those documents describe the standard we hold ourselves to.
What stays internal.
Internal control documents, working procedures, evidence registers, training records, audit working papers, supplier files, and the operational detail of how the standards get implemented day-to-day stay private. They support the public records without becoming public themselves.
